I bought second hand Mondeo 1.8 MK3 2001 few days ago. There are problems with central locking system. So to be more specific here is the scenario:
I'm using 0.2.17b version of ELMConfig, and all of the screenshots / forum queries etc., I've read are for previous versions but I think the main problem is that no-one else seems to have done anything on their MK4 Mondys. I wanted to start with something innocuous like turning on the autolocking of the doors at speed but I don;t see a GEM in

MK4 Modeo PCM Failure. Hi all - First post on the forum but have been reading on and off in the past. My car had to be towed to the dealers on Friday after totally dying Thursday night. I have a 3 button remote with a fixed key on a 58 plate 2.0 tdci 140 zetec after locking my car a friend came round and they wanted to see the car so i took them outside so i pressed the button to unlock the car the the buttons had stopped working! the central locking still works by putting it in the keyhole and turning it and i have even tried changing the battery and that has not worked either. today i noticed that driver side lock get open at least 3 times in my 15-16 attempts. so to me it looks like some dry joint or out of sync issue. I took out the fuse 25 and took out both connectors from the control module for 3 hours, but no use, all works fine except when use lock lever from driver side it locks all door but then the lever 7EKYR.
