The previous owner had an alcantara E46 M3 wheel in here, and I definitely prefer this thinner, leather wrapped wheel instead. It’s identical to the sport package wheel that came in my E46 sedan except without the buttons.

The engine is not the original, with Edwin explaining it is a 2.5-liter six-cylinder engine from a BMW 323i. Engine swaps with the E36 like a V12 are not uncommon according to Edwin. It is at this point that Edwin reveals he is the 11th owner of the car. The lack of exhaust on the BMW is another issue that Edwin will have to deal with.
An e36 with m44 or m42 is about the same cost as an e36 with m52, so it'll be easier to go with a 6 cylinder from the start. Imo it's hard to find a clean e36 6 cylinder for the same price as a 4 cylinder cause the owners usually beat on them. E36 4 cylinder don't output that much power so the natrally the driver don't beat on it.
